Researchers use language to study how the brain works

Researchers at Cornell and the University of Michigan are working with two teams in France to find out what it is about the brain that enables you to understand. They’re studying brain patterns of native speakers of American English and French to see if they use the same brain structures to understand stories. The researchers are sharing their data over NYSERNet’s R&E network.
