thelodge2016Each year, NYSERNet hosts two conferences, The NYSERNet Conference (formerly TechSummit) and NYSCIO, to provide network engineers, security and IT professionals, and CIOs working in higher education and research the latest from experts from around the world.

The NYSERNet Conference (formerly Tech Summit)
Each year, more than 150 experts and partners gather for NYSERNet’s annual conference. Technical staff and decision-makers from our member institutions learn about the latest network technology, trends, best practices, and share practical advice. This conference is multi-tracked providing security, advanced networking, academic computing and network support, governance compliance and risk management, and professional development session opportunities.

NYSCIO
Each summer, many of the state’s leading chief information officers gather for NYSERNet’s New York State Conference of Higher Education CIOs. The two-day conference conveniently is held in Central New York, where CIOs meet to exchange ideas and share experiences with their peers from New York’s higher education community. Panel discussions and expert speakers lead conversations about issues and challenges facing today’s campus IT leaders.
