NYGC, Weill Cornell develop cancer genomics data center

A $2.45 million grant from the National Cancer Institute will support a joint cancer genomics data center that allows The New York Genome Center and Weill Cornell Medicine to collaborated on research and clinical interpretation. The institutions will analyze DNA and RNA to better understand cancer mutations. NYSERNet’s research and education network facilitates the sharing of data between the two institutions throughout the study.
