Le Moyne uses network to collaborate on neutrino research

A Le Moyne College physics professor and his students are part of a federally funded project that aims to learn more about elusive neutrino particles. By studying neutrinos in active nuclear reactors, researchers may find evidence of a new form of matter. They’re using NYSERNet’s optical network to collaborate with nine other institutions around the country, including Yale University, where the project is centered.
