Genetic patterns may indicate severe forms of pediatric epilepsy

Columbia University Medical Center and New York Presbyterian have collaborated on a study of genetic patterns in severe forms of pediatric epilepsy, and their findings may lead to better treatment of the disorder by targeting its precise genetic causes. The international collaboration at the heart of this effort is aided by NYSERNet’s R&E network.
