Scientists and researchers at the Rockefeller University have examined and detailed the architecture of the nuclear pore complex in yeast cells. Led by Michael P. Rout and Brian T. Chait, the study has revealed a biological framework that share some of the same principles seen in concrete, steel, and wire.
