Physicists at NYU have developed new methods for improving data analysis for the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the most powerful particle accelerator in the world. The LHC, located in the CERN laboratory near Geneva, Switzerland, is currently working toward revealing the origin of mass of fundamental particles. The new methods now pave the path to greater possibilities in pioneering discoveries about our understanding of the universe.
The researchers were able to collaborate using NYSERNet’s R&E network.
